Vulcan
Solutions wins "Best ICT
Company of the Year"
Vulcan
Solutions, software solutions
provider to the financial
services industry, has been
named Best ICT Company of the
Year at the inaugural ITAG
Industry Awards. The
awards were announced on
November 3rd at a black tie
dinner in the Westwood Hotel,
Galway. The event was
sponsored by Microsoft and
attracted 190 representatives
of the IT community in Galway.
The
Best ICT Company award was
presented to Vulcan Solutions
in recognition of their
excellence in marketing,
implementing and supporting
ICT solutions. During 2005,
Vulcan Solutions has delivered
80 software projects to its
customers, and made
significant investments in its
insurance and lending
management systems.
A major advance for the
company this year was the
formation of a partnership
with Idiom Software (NZ) to
provide their Business Rules
Engine to
Ireland
and
the UK market.
The partnership was
officially launched at a
seminar in Dublin on August
10th and Vulcan Solutions has
executed a sales and marketing
campaign to highlight the
features of this new technology
and its relevance to companies
in the financial services
sector.
